...but he is still
carrying out surveillance and compiling data records of almost every single person in the West today.
Everything you email, text, google search, facebook, tweet, make a cell call...all of it, is stored at one of the multitude of over 40 information fusion centers that was created in the United States after 9/11.
Does this mean someone, somewhere is watching all your YouTube video clips and reading all of your emails and tweets and listening to your cell phone conversations? Nah. There's too many people generating too much data at any given moment to have a pair of human eyes and ears tracking it all.
But what it can do is compile, sort and store it in an easily retrievable record set -- this, by the way, is what I still believe is
the true impetus behind Obama care -- so that should anyone in a position of authority decide you're a person of interest, they'll be able to punch in your social security number, your name, or whatever other means for which all that data is indexed, and pull it all up and begin sifting through literally years worth of your electronic communications.
Former National Security Adviser, Trilateral Commission Founder, a Council of Foreign Relations member and President Obama's top Foreign Policy Adviser (Obama was a student in Brzezinski's class at Columbia) during his Presidential campaign, Zbigniew Brzezinski, wrote this in 1970:
"The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities." -
Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era, 1970
41 years later, Brzezinski's prediction of a "gradual appearance" has come to pass.
Wonder what some bureaucrat or government lackey has the ability to look up about you?

People just don't get it. Facebook is too addicting. Besides... everybody else is doing it!
Big Brother wasn't alway's watching in 1984, you just didn't know when, just as now.
Obama care was about revenue generation for the government and welth redistribution.
If you're middle class obamacare is telling you to get ot the back of the bus.
Change back your blog link/roll format on the left side.
I use it to access my daily readings, its all my preferred blogs in one location...!!!
I didn't change it WP...that happens once in a while, you just have to reload. I think it has something to do with the rss feed doesn't load properly. I have to actually close the window and reopen my page to get the links to load properly.
The intensive use of mobile phones serves several purposes. One is of course to assist them in surveilling the population, another is to cause brain tumours to help reduce the population of "useless eaters", & another I believe is to habituate the people to being controlled by an electronic device. Hardly anyone in this day & age is ever truly alone, free to enjoy his solitude & simply contemplate things in peace. One is always at the beck & call of the little phone. When it rings everything else one has been doing is dropped instantly in order that a response may be given, one can almost be said to snap to attention like a soldier standing & saluting when an officer enters the room. The phone has in a certain way become one's master. It seems probable that this aspect will be developed further in the future. The government could make the possession & constant carrying about of a phone mandatory. It would be said that such a law was necessary so that the state would be able to warn everyone of impending terrorist attacks & so forth. Later it could be used to summon work brigades to work on collective farms &c. A certain number of people would picked, 100, 200, 500 as the case may be, then a text message would be sent to their phones ordering to report to so & so at such & such a place where they would put into trucks or boxcars & sent to their work assignment. No one would ever again have the excuse of not having received the message(not that such a plea would be likely to do much good with Marxists anyhow), after all he would be required by law to have his phone about his person at all times & to report to a commissar if it were broken or last or began malfunctioning or had somehow been lost, so that the state could provide him a new one. It just goes to show that whatever man invents will always be used for evil far more than for good.
Sorry about the typos in the above comment about possible future uses of the phones. I thought that it was all in order, should've looked over it more carefully.
And the other interesting question: Who will be able to add and delete things from your permanent file? Certainly people with authority over you: school teachers, the local policeman, your doctor, the local public health authorities, courts, the FBI, the IRS. Will there be parts of your file that are off limits to examination by you or your agents? Will there be a court review process to remove what you consider errors. Remember there is no appeal against being placed on a no fly list.
On a separate, but somewhat related note - new movie to debut in September, just in time for the upcoming flu season and big pharma annual vaccination program: Contagion

Did alittle reading about fusion centers. Public employees such as firefighters and saitation workers are explicitly authorized to add data to your file.
During the last election one of Brzezinski's sons was an advisor for McCain and one was an advisor for Obama. Coincidence I'm sure.
And FB is funded by a CIA VentCap firm. You can find a vid covering it on YouTube.
Must see lecture on privacy from someone in the trenches:
"Private investigator Steven Rambam explains what he does, how he knows everything about you and why he's not the one you should be worried about."
