TellAVision: The Big Picture

I did not expect the response I got from my initial and then follow up post about the TV program, The Big Bang Theory. Both those posts are still getting regular hits and unusual amount of comments (for this blog, anything more than 10-15 comments is unusual).

I was surprised to find out how many manosphere regulars were very familiar/regular viewers of The Big Bang Theory. As I wrote earlier, there are so many aspects I could have covered regarding all the themes and subtexts conveyed subversively in the show -- like Commenter Carpe Oro points out, "I watch it with my wife and personally get a chuckle out of how PC it is regarding science and the typical "well ALL smart people know this is the TRUTH about how the world works" jive they sell." 

The main point is that TBBT is simply one example of the entire purpose of TellAVision Programming as a social engineering tool.

As commenter Ubermind wrote: "There is no need to see more evil in BBT than in every common TV soap opera that has been around for ages."

Right. It's almost ALL evil. Nearly on every channel, on almost every show, you can find aspects of behavior, attitudes and ideas that promote human relationship dysfunction in some way or another.

Ubermind also commented:

"I would be cautious to call it a conspiracy (because it is bad to see conspiracy in everything even trough there is a conspiracy) it is just how the TV series need to operate to continue earning money."

I'll throw caution to the wind and just say it outright - TellAVision Programming is certainly one, big, giant conspiracy.

It is one of the most effective means of propagandizing We the Sheeple ever devised.

When you become a regular viewer of a program, you begin to subconsciously feel like you're personally involved with the characters on screen. The tone of their voice, their facial expressions....the regular exposure of constant viewing tricks your mind into thinking you actually KNOW the people on screen. Regular viewing simulates the familiarity that comes with interpersonal friendship with people in real life. This is how it "grows" on you...and how it influences you on a subconscious level.

I grew to "like" the characters on The Big Bang Theory. I looked forward to watching new episodes in the same way I look forward to attending an upcoming party in which I'll see all of my friends and acquaintances. This influence is precisely how social engineering to change attitudes and behavior is effected in our society.

As a Gen X-er, I can remember a time when curse words, nudity and gratuitous violence were verboten on network TV. Crudity, cruelty and familial dysfunction were not a regular feature of the old shows of the 80's. There were an abundance of positive, masculine characters, and women were not portrayed as super-empowered, ass-kicking, know-it-alls. All of these changes were gradually phased into TellAVision Programming over the course of decades.

I remember when it was SHOCKING that a TV sitcom had a single, mild curse word like BITCH was used, or a brief flash of nudity was shown...all my friends and I were talking about it in the schoolyard the next day like it was a major event that had occurred. And it was. Every initial instance added to the continual, gradual and incremental decline in standards and morality of society at large amongst we the sheeple.

What is the "grand conspiracy" here?

One need not concern themselves with trying to connect TellAVision Programming with NWO Agenda, Global Governance, the Illuminati, Reptilian Aliens, UFO's or the Federal Reserve to understand why I call it a "conspiracy."

Simple corporate-driven profit motive will do.

Our reality is that we do not live in a Capitalist, nor Socialist society...but a Corporatist one. Everything in the "First" world is shaped, manipulated and controlled by Corporations. Nameless, faceless, inhuman entities that treat us all nothing more than CONSUMERS and HUMAN RESOURCES who's sole purpose is to generate revenue streams to profit shareholders.

If there's one thing corporate marketing researchers know about human motivation, is that people who are unhappy and have no real meaningful direction in their lives are desperate to try and find that meaning...they are much more easily influenced into trying to "BUY" happiness by consuming products and services.

This, of course, never really works. Consuming products and services may give temporary happiness, but it will always dissipate and cause a person to try and buy even more happiness. Following the path of consumerism will consume you...which is exactly what THEY want us all to do.

This is why relationship dysfunction is an INTEGRAL part of TellAVision script writing. Emasculate men, pedestalize and masculinize women. Feature humorous dialog based on cruelty and put downs. Friends and lovers regularly insult each other...relationships never last, break ups, divorces...all of it is normalized by TellAVision Programming, to subversively influence the viewer to internalize such attitudes and behavior, and translate it into disconnected dysfunction in our personal lives.

The unhappiness modeled on screen turns into the unhappiness in your head which than transforms into the unhappiness manifest in your relationships with your family, friends and colleagues at work.

Unhappiness and fear are the most profitable mindsets for corporate marketing departments to capitalize on in trying to sell you something...sell you anything and everything.

It's overriding message is that we are all unhappy, life is shit, all people are crude, selfish and narcissistic animals....but you can be happy if you BUY something.

As I write this, the lyrics to one of my favorite Tool songs, Hooker With A Penis, echo in my mind:

...so, shut up and BUY!!!!

Have you ever read George Orwell's 1984? It is not a science fiction novel, it's a fucking blueprint.

Every citizen, or at least every citizen important enough to be worth watching, could be kept twenty-four hours a day under the eyes of the police and in the sound of official propaganda, with all other channels of communication closed. The possibility of enforcing not only complete obedience to the will of the State, but complete uniformity of opinion of all subjects now existed.

The UKUSA Agreement was a follow-up of the 1943 BRUSA Agreement, the World War II agreement on cooperation over intelligence matters.[3] This was a secret treaty, allegedly so secret that it was kept secret from the Australian Prime Ministers until 1973.[4] The agreement established an alliance of five English-speaking countries for the purpose of sharing intelligence, especially signals intelligence. It formalized the intelligence sharing agreement in the Atlantic Charter, signed in 1941, before the entry of the U.S. into the conflict.[5]

With the advent of the internet and the exponential increase of global communications, our Brave New World Order Overlords need new facilities to handle the sheer volume of encrypted data!

The heavily fortified $2 billion center should be up and running in September 2013. Flowing through its servers and routers and stored in near-bottomless databases will be all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.” It is, in some measure, the realization of the “total information awareness” program created during the first term of the Bush administration—an effort that was killed by Congress in 2003 after it caused an outcry over its potential for invading Americans’ privacy.

But “this is more than just a data center,” says one senior intelligence official who until recently was involved with the program. The mammoth Bluffdale center will have another important and far more secret role that until now has gone unrevealed. It is also critical, he says, for breaking codes. And code-breaking is crucial, because much of the data that the center will handle—financial information, stock transactions, business deals, foreign military and diplomatic secrets, legal documents, confidential personal communications—will be heavily encrypted. The upshot, according to this official: “Everybody’s a target; everybody with communication is a target.”

Canada's CSEC is constructing a similar facility as well.

As envisioned, the seven-building CSEC complex will be the equivalent of a 90-storey skyscraper turned on its side – a highly secure compound outfitted with the latest high-tech gear. Two nearby electrical generating stations will power the agency’s computers, which suck in millions of conversations from around the world each day and scour them for intelligence information.

Oh, and Australia too.


Soon...very soon, total surveillance of all electronic communications in every corner of the globe will be monitored, recorded, de-crypted, analyzed and available for the emerging New World Order's Global Government to identify and act upon as they see fit.

The Big Shaming Theory

There were a number of good comments on my last post regarding the Big Bang Theory. While I was writing it, there were a whole lot of other themes and subtexts I could have also pointed out with regards to the show (extended adolescence, over the top caricatures of Christians and Christianity, ), but I found the post starting getting disjointed in trying to cover everything...so I deleted whole sections before hitting the publish button.

In the comments, Alte posted a link to a feminist blog entitled Womanist Musings, in which she points out that feminists don't like the show because it had an episodes that had slut shaming combined with racism. (Look it up in the comments of the last post if you really wanna see the piece, I'm not going to hotlink to that misandrist blog) Commenter Sojourner also weighed in: "...this show does have a perchance for slut shaming."

I actually disagree...I believe TBBT is actually engaging in a bit of "wag the dog" style propagandizing.

First thing to note is that the episode for which the feminist blogger is offended with has Penny expressing regret for sleeping with Raj and how she feels guilty for it. Womanist is offended, but she fails to realize the entire context of that episode is actually promoting her feminist ideology: Penny "puts everything back to the way it was" - i.e. no real consequences for her slutty behavior, and by the next episode, Raj, Penny and Leonard all act as if nothing had ever happened. Is that REAL "slut shaming?" Note the dialog between Penny and the other female character, Amy, that got Womanist all upset:

Amy: Do you know the story of Catherine the Great? Penny: No Amy: She ruled Russia in the 1700's and one night when she was feeling particularly randy she used an intricate system of pulleys to have intimate relations with a horse. Penny: I'm sorry, what does this have to do with me? Amy: She engaged in inter-species hanky panky and people still call her great. I'm sure your reputation can survive you shagging a little Indian boy.

Cue laugh track.

Slut shaming? Looks more to me like demonstrating how the female rationalization hamster can explain away slutty behavior. Yet another subversive meme being presented as normalized behavior in the show.

Womanist is all upset that the script writers have Penny expressing feelings of guilt for sleeping with Raj - who is supposed to be Leonard's friend. Sleeping with your boyfriend's friends is slutty behavior. Womanist is upset that the script writers here are calling a spade, a spade.

Real slut shaming by a TV show script writer would involve showing the real consequences of slutty, promiscuous behavior. Usually when a girl sleeps with her boyfriend's friends in real life, the relationship dynamics between the sordid triangle are forever changed. Raj and Leonard would never be friends again, may even fight, and there would no longer be the regular episodes of the entire cast sitting in the living room eating take-out food and hanging out.

But not here...the show carries on, episode after episode, with no real effects from slutty, promiscuous behavior ever depicted realistically. Womanist fails to identify the real theme of that particular episode: Brave New World Order sexual morality = sex is disconnected from procreation, and is now a meaningless entertainment. Everyone can fuck anyone and no one is supposed to be upset, nor should they let meaningless, promiscuous sex interfere with relationships. She's upset that the script writers would DARE even put in even a half-assed dialog that hints at slut shaming, but fails to see the bigger picture in that the slut shaming referenced is ineffective, LAUGHED OFF, and marginalized by Amy's rationalization - Catherine was a horse fucker, yet she was still considered GREAT!

In other words, the real subtext of the message here is: DON'T LET SLUT SHAMING BOTHER YOU LADIES...others have done far worse and they are still considered historically GREAT!

Feminists like Womanist wants no mention of any kind of judgement for any female's sexual behavior whatsoever. No one EVER should have even the slightest thought for judging any woman, anywhere for her sexual choices. She fails to realize how the very episode she derides, is actually playing a part in promoting the marginalization of slut shaming as a means of constraining female sexuality.
